Joshua 24: 15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
I Kings 18:21 21 Elijah went before the people and said, “How long will you waver between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”
Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.
Same question in different times.
The theme of decision-making has been a popular subject in the scriptures from generation to generations. God obviously wants our decision to be Him but He won’t force us to make that decision. He simply asks the question. We as inhabitants of the planet often times shift to the gray lines. If we don’t make a decision then by default our decision is not the Lord because Jesus says in Revelations 3:16 that He spews the Luke-warm Christian from His mouth. It creates a undesirable taste to the Lord if we don’t make a decision to be completely for Him or to straightway identify ourselves as enemies of the Cross. Jesus says, in Mark 9:40 “for whoever is not against us is for us”. So who you with?
