Faith

I am thankful for the opportunity of new life each morning. It so easy to get into the forgetful mindset that someone may not have woke up this morning and may have passed away last night. Life at best is a vapor as described by the Apostle James. It is probably the drive and desire to live that pushes the reality of our mortality away. Each day is a new day to ask the Father what can we do to satisfy Him. One way is to simply believe in Him and pursue Him.

Hebrews 11:6 says But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

I like dictionary.com definition for diligently. Diligently is pursued with persevering attention.

Faith seems elementary but Jesus said if we had the faith the size of a mustard seed that we could move mountains. So what is it that we have then? My desire is to have the child like faith that is required for Kingdom inheritance. The sitting in the chair and car cranking faith that we exhibit everyday. That is the type of faith that we should have for our God. We should believe His words and have corresponding actions. We expect the chair to hold us up and the car to crank to take us to and fro. What are our expectations and beliefs in God and what He says?
